Pharmaceutical Education and Research, in India is shaping up impressively in recent times. The number of educational institutes offering pharma education are increasing all over India, testifying to the fact that, Pharmaceutical education and research has gained tremendous importance. P.A. College of Pharmacy is one such new Pharmaceutical teaching institute just started in Mangalore with an ambitious vision, “to be among the leading professional training and research institutions in the field of Pharmacy in India” and mission, “to provide quality education and training to the upcoming pharmacy professionals by creating an environment conducive for effective and sustainable learning”.

Our institute has a clear vision of building a quality pharma educational hub in the region. Ever since, National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) was introduced by Ministry of HRD, existing reputed colleges are striving hard to get on to the top of the list while the newer institutions have focused their way to make it to NIRF. In their quest to attain top positions in ranking framework, the educational institutions are concentrating on providing quality education and research. Newer establishments entering the education systems have to compete with the giants for their share in the system. The new entrants should therefore pull their socks and stand upright to lay down stringent quality measures for their institution. The institution should focus on various ranking and accreditation systems to build a sustainable, competent and quality educational organization. A healthy growth does never mean only academic results, but it also means a wholesome growth which include extracurricular activities, sports, personality development and building communication skills.

We, at P.A. College of Pharmacy, are motivated not only to provide quality education but also to create competent, confident and skilled professionals. Our focus is therefore, to be the leading pharmacy professional training and research institute that imparts quality education and stress on overall personality development of its pupil and thereby enviosioned to build a strong competent Pharmacy professionals for the nation.
