NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

On 31st January 2024, in commemoration of
National Youth Day, the Institutional Innovation Council (IIC) of P A College
of Pharmacy orchestrated a vibrant celebration in the seminar hall during the
afternoon hours. The event aimed to invigorate the spirit of innovation and
knowledge enhancement among our young student community. The festivities
comprised a series of engaging competitions designed to stimulate intellectual
growth and foster creativity. These included Essay Writing, E-Poster
Presentation, Quiz Competition, and Debate. Each competition served a distinct
purpose, ranging from honing writing skills and critical thinking to updating
knowledge and fostering teamwork. The Essay Writing competition, held in the B
Pharm 3rd-semester classroom at 11 AM, was facilitated by Mr. Anoop and Mr.
Muhammed Jamshad. Concurrently, the E-Poster presentation, focusing on
fostering innovative ideas and promoting awareness about novel innovations, was
supervised by Mr. Muhammed Jamshad. The participants exhibited remarkable
prowess in presenting their E-Posters, with Mashuk from the final year B Pharm
clinching the first prize, followed by Ibrahim Khaleel Jisthin securing the
second position. Formal proceedings commenced promptly at 2 PM, with Mr.
Muhammed Jamshad, the IIC Convenor, delivering an insightful introductory
speech on the significance of National Youth Day and the pivotal role of the
IIC in nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among students. The subsequent Quiz
Competition, conducted by Mr. Anoop and adjudicated by Mr. Muhammed Jamshad,
witnessed Mohammed Rizwan and Adil Aboobacker from the first year B Pharm
securing the top position, while Zayan and Raihan from the third year B Pharm
claimed the second spot. The Debate, hosted by Mr. Muhammed Jamshad and judged
by Mr. Faizal from P A First Grade College and Dr. Ismayil Sharif, HOD of
Physics from P A College of Engineering, delved into the intriguing topic of
the future implications of artificial intelligence. The team advocating against
artificial intelligence emerged victorious, with Mohammed Mazin from the first
year B Pharm being recognized as the best debater. The event culminated with a
gracious acknowledgment by Mr. Faizal and the announcement of results by Dr.
Ismayil Sharif. A heartfelt vote of thanks was extended by Mr. Muhammed
Jamshad, the IIC Convenor, acknowledging the participants, organizers, and
supporters. The winners were felicitated with certificates during the college's
Annual Day celebration on 2nd February 2024, marking the culmination of a
successful and intellectually stimulating National Youth Day celebration under
the auspices of the IIC at P A College of Pharmacy.
