Introduction: The College celebrated teachers’ day on 05 September 2024, to recognize the invaluable contributions of the teachers and to honor our esteemed faculty members for their dedication and commitment to education.

The event was skillfully anchored by Ms Naheema Fathima, Member of Students’ Forum, welcoming and guiding the audience through the program.

The Teachers’ Day Celebration commenced with a soulful recitation of Holy Quran by Mr. Mohammed Sahil Ismail, from fourth year B. Pharm followed by a welcome address by Ms Amnaz, Member of Students’ Forum.

Next up was a sincere speech delivered by Mr. Mohammed Mahshuk, from fourth year B. Pharm, expressing the gratitude and appreciation to the teachers. His speech resonated with the audience emphasizing the significance of teachers in shaping the future.

Then, the Principal, Dr. Saleemullah Khan, addressed the audience highlighting the steadfast dedication of teachers and encouraged students to express gratitude to their teachers and acknowledge the crucial role educators lay in education system.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of thoughtful gift prepared by the students, handed over by student forum members and class representatives.

The celebration took a lively turn with series of engaging games, specifically designed for teachers. A thrilling round of ever-popular musical chair was organized exclusively for the faculty members, providing a unique opportunity for them to unwind and have fun. The first prize was awarded to Dr. Muhammed Mubeen, Head of the Dept, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, while the remaining participants were assigned a creative task.

The festivities proceeded with a captivating team based game, where a pair of male teachers demonstrated their saree draping skills. The winning team comprising Dr. Saleemullah Khan, Principal of PACP, and Dr. Muhammed Mubeen, Head of the dept, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, demonstrated exceptional teamwork.

The excitement continued with a challenging Treasure Hunt, a game designed to choose the ‘Teacher of the Day’. After an intense competition, Dr. Manohar Naik K, Head of the Dept, Pharmacology, emerged as the winner. He was felicitated by the Principal with momentum and sash.

Finally, the representatives from second year B. Pharm offered a gesture of appreciation by bestowing gifts to all the teachers.

The event concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Murshid Haji Hassan,second year D.Pharm Member of Students’ Forum, who expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, and the student body.
